The Educational Journal, Chetana, was initially started seven years back by Chakoli Educational & Social Development Society, Dholpur and was registered by the Government as ISSN 2231-3613 for the print version and ISSN 2455-8729 for the online version of previously UGC approved (42652) peer-reviewed refereed educational Journal ‘Chetana: Journal of Education’.

The main objective to start the journal around seven years back, was to accommodate the opinions of the celebrated educationists in the country relating the burning issues of education. For the last seven years, the journal published opinions of several leading educationists in the country and circulated their ideas to a large number of people, especially in five states- Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. Considering its initial success and popularity, the sponsors decided to publish it online from the year 2016 as an International Journal so that it could conceive the articles of several other educationists from different parts of the world. With this view, it is now being promoted as an International Educational Journal.
