This review article provides an in-depth analysis of the extensive diversity of insect populations in Rajasthan, India. It synthesizes findings from various studies on orthopteran, coleopteran, hymenopteran, and aquatic insects, highlighting their ecological roles, distribution patterns, and conservation significance. The study underscores the importance of biodiversity management for sustaining ecosystem services in semi-arid, agricultural, and freshwater environments. Furthermore, it discusses threats to insect diversity and suggests conservation strategies for maintaining ecological balance.
