A nation is well known for the growth and capabilities of its citizens and the education system. Education plays an essential role in providing direction and setting goals to be achieved by the institutions for the development of a country. The process of imparting and receiving education has changed according to the needs of the society. The holistic development of the learners depends on the learning experiences provided in the schools and institutions. A teacher who is called a nation-builder educates the children and inculcates the qualities of a good citizen. With the changing scenario and the impact of globalization, we need to prepare competent teachers to impart knowledge to students with innovative methods and strategies to equip them with 21st-century skills. To consider the need to focus on teacher education reforms both in-service and pre-service teacher education and reshape it for better outcomes, NEP2020 introduces the structure and curriculum of teacher education.
