Traditional learning environments have been transformed by the use of smart technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) in educational settings, which have improved efficiency, accessibility, and engagement. Data is gathered through the networking of sensors, wearables, mobile devices, etc. To find an effective solution to a variety of issues, the gathered data is processed and examined on fog and cloud using a variety of algorithms. IoT may be implemented in a variety of ways, and a number of businesses have already begun implementing an intelligent and effective ecosystem. This study investigates how data-driven analytics, connected learning tools, and IoT-enabled smart classrooms might enhance instructional strategies and student results. Numerous applications are covered, such as interactive learning resources, automated attendance systems, and customized learning experiences. The study additionally examines at the pros and cons of integrating IoT in education, addressing issues including infrastructure needs, security threats, and data privacy. The results demonstrate how smart technology may revolutionize education by creating flexible, student-focused learning environments.
