In the era of rapid changes, our dependency on Artificial Intelligence has vastly increased. AI can be seen as new and distinct from earlier technologies it lessens, or replaces human inventions that has been one of the essential foundations of all creations. AI has slowly been creeping in almost all fields like healthcare, education, technology, entertainment etc. and many companies like Google & DeepSeek are developing their own AI system for better experience and to make the process simpler. Although, this has been posing serious challenge to the field of Intellectual Property Rights specially to the field of copyright law. On merely giving instructions by a human, an AI within seconds to minutes can create poetry, blogs, poems, music, art etc. Through this paper we will discuss about the idea of originality and creativity when creations are produced by AI. The paper will further discuss the recent case laws related to AI & copyright, questioning the issue of ownership and moral rights of copyright & AI. Further, the paper will focus on fair use and infringement involved in the field of copyright. Also, the paper will stress on how AI is impacting music industry and economically affecting this and capturing the music market. The paper will harp onto the need of improvisation of current laws and other recommendation/proposal to amend the current legislation to incorporate the new issues.
