The swift incorporation of technology into education has profoundly influenced student engagement, motivation, and learning results. This study assesses the impact of technology on enhancing student interaction, academic success, and the overall educational experience. Through a comprehensive literature review, it investigates how various technologies—including digital platforms, gamified tools, adaptive learning systems, and virtual environments—promote student engagement. The study also considers the effectiveness of blended and flipped learning models in comparison to traditional educational methods regarding academic performance. The key findings indicate that technology encourages active learning, enables personalized instruction, and boosts student participation and motivation. Nonetheless, challenges such as digital inequity, preparedness of teachers, and cognitive overload continue to hinder the full utilization of technology in education. Additionally, the research underscores the necessity of appropriate pedagogical integration and teacher training for effective technology use. The study offers practical recommendations for educators, schools, and policymakers, stressing the importance of professional development for teachers, equitable access to digital resources, and incorporating blended learning strategies. It also identifies potential areas for future research, especially in examining the long-term effects of technology use and investigating emerging innovations like artificial intelligence and virtual reality.
